As you are aware the current Corona Virus, also known as COVID-19, is affecting international travel due to closed international borders and travel bans.
The WHO has declared COVID-19 a “Pandemic”, which affects our corporate travel insurance policy and its coverage of our engineers whilst overseas.
Unfortunately, this means our engineers cannot offer global onsite servicing and equipment installation until the restrictions have been lifted.
We want to help you keep your Versatile Technology equipment running well so we have taken the following steps:
- Online support. We will increase our online, email and phone support capacity.
- Spare Parts. We can ship spare parts via Fedex and DHL, however they have advised that shipments may be delayed due to the air travel restrictions.
- Extending calibration certificate validity for the duration of the restrictions. This can be done upon request.
As soon as the travel restrictions have been lifted, we will be back on the road.
