Make Every Step Count!
What started off as a chat between a couple of work colleagues, ended up as a whole workplace movement! Versatile Technology is participating in the Steptember Challenge to help raise funds for Cerebral Palsy.
Cerebral Palsy is a permanent physical disability that affects a person’s movement and posture. In Australia, 1 in 700 babies born are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy!
The Steptember Challenge require you to move more than 10,000 steps a day for 28 days! The challenge has gotten the staff up and about, taking part in lunchtime walks and kicks of the footy. With only 4 days to go, VT has logged over 7,000,000 steps and raised over AUD2000.00!
10,000 steps a day can seem like a challenge for the everyday person but for those with Cerebral Palsy it can be impossible! The Steptember Challenge has been a great bonding experience in the workplace and have taught us to appreciate how lucky we are. Our contributes will go towards providing life-changing research, therapy and equipment for kids and adults with cerebral palsy.
What a great cause and we look forward to participating next year!
TIM GOT HITCHED
On Sunday 9th June 2019 our European agent Tim Bulman married his beautiful wife Sarah by Lake Windermere.
The day was everything Tim and Sarah imagined.
Our Managing Director Gerard travelled from freezing cold Melbourne to help celebrate the big day. Gerard shared a couple of “un-chilled beers” with Paul Aston (European agent) and Larry Mourdant (Retired Ball Waterford) pictured above.
We congratulate Tim and Sarah on their perfect day and we wish them many years of happiness.
